Resume with a Side of Rosé

The daily routine looks a little different this week, will attempting to stay consistent and find that balance of busy vs. buoyant. The mission of discovering my next chapter became my new “day job”, which is simultaneously energizing and exhausting. The process involves vulnerability, introspection and overall emotion. The support of my network is unbelievable, and I feel overwhelmed by the amazing conversations and offers to help. Through an unsettling time, I continue to feel hopeful and peace that the best is yet to come.
Beginning a daunting journey first requires deciding on the direction forward. A fresh start is a gift, and a chance to reflect on potentially changing course. Setbacks are an opportunity to breathe, realign, and proceed with grace. Through each unexpected career change, I better understand both my strengths and areas for improvement. With each new role, my professional goals are either reinforced or adjusted, and I feel a renewed spirit.
The kindness and generosity of my friends and family highlights just how much I have to be grateful for. The gloomier blips are outshined with the comfort of community. Through insightful and encouraging conversations, I’m reminded of the sparkle I bring to the table. There are people that believe in me, and it is therefore my responsibility to also invest in myself. A welcome confidence boost for the 4:00 weekday slumps, when the matcha wears off and the doubt creeps in.
I’m finding a rhythm through routine, and a peace in the possibilities. Acceptance is a gift that allows us to let go and move on. This experience is happening for me not to me; a chance to build myself up and rediscover my special sauce. Not to mention an occasion to practice patience… one of my aforementioned ‘areas of improvement.’ I bring a lot to the table, in addition to the champagne of course.
XOXO,
